About me
So here’s my deal: I love things that are made well. I try to do my part by making things I’d enjoy using.
When I was a kid, I passed the time by getting my hands on any piece of software I could. Nothing was more fun for me than figuring out how to use a new tool on my Mac. I had no idea at the time but all that tinkering would set the course of my career many years later.
Disappointing user experiences inspired me to learn programming so I build something better. I cut my teeth on event-driven C-style scripting in Second Life six years ago and today I design and develop applications on Apple’s superb iOS platform.
I love making things for other people to enjoy.
My career has two constants: ambition and idealism. I’m always hungry for growth but it’s also important that I take the time to help other people in my life succeed. I can’t escape my ideals and I don’t want to – it’s deeply important to do the very best work possible.
I’ve got a full-time gig at Hipmunk and I love what we’re doing there.
